Karapan Sapi Madura Indonesia Custom T-Shirt Design

This T-shirt design is inspired by a traditional race of Madura Ethnic in East Java Indonesia. The race is called as ‘Karapan Sapi’ (racing of cows). If you know Bali, Madura is an island near from Bali.

In this race, a pair of cows that attracts a kind of carriage of wood (a place jockey stand up and control cows couples), stimulated in the race to show their fast against couples other cows. The race usually tracks about 100 meters race and the race title can last about ten seconds to a minute.

Several cities in Madura hold Karapan Sapi at August and September every year.  And the final game is at the end of September or October in Karesidenan Pamekasan (a city in Madura). The Champion will receive a cup from President of Indonesia.
